This week I finalized the IRB orientation and completed my IRB application. I have completed chapter 1 of my thesis and continue work finalizing chapter 2. This project has proven to be difficult, I have collected and organized all of my information, more than 40 articles, but the writing process has been slow, which is very uncommon for me.
Next week I plan to finish my instruments for chapter 3 which I'm still making final changes in order to conduct interviews with experts in podcasting in an effective manner.

Looks like you are doing very well. The writing is slow. I am ususally good at writing and it has been very difficult for me. I spend a lot of time alone, doubting myself and rereading the same pages over and over.....
Keep going, you are organized and have a clear direction....you are almost there....
Wow, you made good progress. When are you turning in your IRB? When the writing gets slow for me I read and outline what I'm reading. When I start deciding whats important then I can form my thoughts better. I go in starts and stops - I will blast through 20 pages of writting in a week and then nothing for weeks - at least that's where I am now.
What's your interview questions? Practice the questions out on your friends so that you get used to doing it before you actually start gathering data. That is what I learned when I did an interview for 607.
