My plan is to finish my thesis by the end of the Spring quarter. I have completed some of the reseach, but there is still more to be done.
During Winter quarter from Jan to March I would like to complete the following
Pre-thesis and select readers
completing all research
prepare for interviews and surveys
submit all necessary documents for IRB
submit master application proposal
conduct some interviews with higher education students and faculty
prepare first draft
Spring quarter March to June
This is still tentative as I would like to take the spring brake to finish writing the thesis to be able to submit everything for full format review in June 1. Therefore I would need to have everything ready for my first reader in April and for the second reader in May.
Due to work and other duties this may be delayed, but I will like to have most of it done to take the opportunity of taking 699 during the spring quarter.

Edgar- Your timeline looks similar mine. I don't know about you, but I'm being a bit optimistic. What part of your timeline do you think will be your biggest hurdle?

I think putting it all together, as I'm really interested in the topic and the amount of information that is out there in regards to podcasting I think that the research part will not be that difficulty, but putting it all together will prove to be.
Hey Edgar,
Have you turned in your Master's Project Program Plan (I think that's what it is called)? This is the first step where you get your readers signatures.
You can still work on your thesis or project at the same time, but you said you needed to select readers so I just wanted to mention the Plan.
